Over the course of the past year, we have seen our customers adapt quickly to find new ways of running their events online. With the return to physical events looking likely within the next few months, we have launched a brand-new type of event in our online booking system which caters for both physical and online attendance at the same event.
Newly launched, hybrid events combine physical and virtual attendance to maximise your opportunities whilst also providing the flexibility needed during these ever-changing times.
This type of event enables your customers to choose whether they wish to attend in person or join online. As well as providing the option to customers who may wish to attend from their own home, this also provides you with the opportunity to reach a much larger audience.
Increase your audience!
Whilst online events will never entirely replace the benefits of physical attendance, there are some fantastic rewards to running both.
Online events are not limited by location, meaning that you can potentially reach a much larger audience. Instead of promoting your event locally, you can reach potential customers across the UK and beyond, as they will not have to travel to you to attend. Thus, you have the option to increase your audience whilst still providing that much-needed attendance in person for those who choose to.
How can I set up a hybrid event?
With Participant’s webinar software, it is very quick and easy to get started with our hybrid event offering. We have a short tutorial video which will guide you through the process of setting one up.
Are there any other options?
There are of course other options, as we aim to offer the best level of flexibility possible to our event organisers.
You can choose to run an event entirely as physical attendance, or entirely online, for example hosting a webinar or an online meeting. You can see how webinars can work by talking a look at ours here!
